Texas A&M Student Charged With Intoxication Assault

Texas A&M student, Gregory Higginbotham, ran a stop sign and crashed his truck into a car driven by 21-year-old Lindsay Ochoa.  As a result of the accident, Ochoa was taken to the hospital with a broken neck and a broken knee.  After doing some tests, it was determined that Higgenbotham had a blood alcohol level between 0.130 and 0.138.  Higginbotham has been charged with intoxication assault.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.kbtx.com/home/headlines/Aggie_Charged_in_Drunk_Driving_Accident_115577284.html

Sex Offender Tracked Down

Rodney Keels pleaded guilty in June of 2010 to online solicitation of a minor.  As a result of the plea agreement, he was placed on probation for 10 years.  But Mr. Keels has not fulfilled many of the obligations of his probation.  When the probation officer attempted to contact Mr. Keels, they found out he was no longer living at his listed residence.  This past Friday they received a tip about his whereabouts and they were able to take him into custody.  If his probation is successfully revoked, he could face up to 20 years in prison.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.ktre.com/Global/story.asp?S=14155427

Man Gets 16 Years For Intoxication Manslaughter

Santos Constancio III was sentenced to 16 years in prison for intoxication manslaughter earlier this month.  The sentence comes after Constancio was involved in a fatal car accident that killed a UTSA student.  According to police, Constancio ran a red light and collided with the young man's car, causing him to be ejected from the vehicle.  The young man died in a hospital the very next day.  Constancio was facing up to 20 years in prison.  He will be eligible for parole after serving half his sentence.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/local_news/article/Drunken-driver-gets-16-years-in-prison-1004072.php

Suspended UT Basketball Player Charged With DWI

University of Texas Forward, Alexis Wangmene, was recently suspended by the head coach of the UT Basketball team.  Coach Barnes announced that Wangmene was being suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.  Later it was discovered that Wangmene had been arrested for DWI.  A spokesman for the Travis County Sheriff confirmed that Wangmene had been arrested by DPS for DWI and was later released on bond.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2011/02/23/AR2011022303785.html

Police Arrest Ice Cream Driver For DUI

Teacher's Aide Accused of Soliciting Minor

Illegal Immigrant Charged With Vehicular Homicide

29-year-old Cesar Carrasco-Garcia crossed the center line while traveling south on LA 47 and drifted into oncoming traffic.  He collided head on with a Lexus traveling north on LA 47.  The driver of the Lexus was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.  A blood sample was taken from Carrasco-Garcia at the scene of the accident.  Troopers on the scene believed that he was under the influence of either alcohol or drugs.  Garcia has been charged with vehicular homicide and DWI.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.neworleans.com/news/local-news/561403.html

Suspected Drunk Driver Has Accident

Houston Area Man Arrested For Online Solicitation

Warrant Issued After Fatal Car Accident

Miguel Cabrera Arrested For DUI

Miguel Cabrera was arrested this past Wednesday for suspicion of drunken driving in Florida.  Cabrera was first spotted by a deputy because his car had smoke coming out of it on the side of the road.  While the deputy was questioning Cabrera, he reportedly took a drink out of a bottle of scotch.  In addition to drinking in front of the officer, Cabrera smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech, and refused to cooperate with police.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.theledger.com/article/20110217/APS/1102171074

Fatal Accident Leaves Two Dead

HPD Announces Lengthy DWI Initiative

Father Of Music Group Charged

14 Year Old Raped By Cable Guy

A 14 year old girl reported being raped in the middle of the night by an unknown intruder.  It was later determined that the suspect was the cable guy that had installed her cable just days before.  The alleged rapist is still currently on the loose.  No DNA was recovered from the victim, due to the fact that the suspect wore a condom.  When questioned by police, the suspect denied raping the girl.  To read more on this story please go to http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/local&id=7957577

19 Year Old Girl Charged With Cocaine Possession

U.S. Border Patrol and customs officers arrested 19-year-old Priscilla Rodriguez on federal drug charges.  Customs officials allegedly found 13 bundles with 25.9 pounds of cocaine worth an estimated $831,046 in the car.  Rodriguez admitted that she had been paid $1,600 to transport the drugs.  She also told officers that she had tranported drugs to Houston at least twice before.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.valleycentral.com/news/story.aspx?id=581375 

Man Acquitted Of Felony DWI

Remedios Sanchez was found not guilty of felony DWI after a trial by jury in San Angelo Texas.  When Sanchez was found by police, he was passed out in his vehicle and was wearing only his boxer shorts and socks.  When tested for alcohol, Sanchez reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of .42.  But the issue that led to his not guilty verdict, was that nobody saw him driving his vehicle.  This was a felony DWI because Sanchez had previously bee convicted of DWI twice before.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.gosanangelo.com/news/2011/feb/15/jury-is-deliberating-dwi-case/

Woman Charged With Intoxication Assault

Convicted Sex Offender Facing New Charges

DWI Suspect Had Child In His Lap

Police received a call this past Sundy evening about a suspected drunk driver who had a child in his lap.  Someone called the police after they saw the driver, Adonis Pate, hit a mailbox and drive away.  Officers were able to catch up with Pate a short distance from the crash.  After being placed under arrest, Pate was tested and reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .269%.  Police also say they found cocaine in his socks.  He was charged with DWI, child endangerment, hit and run, and possession of a controlled substance.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.katc.com/news/man-arrested-after-driving-drunk-with-child-in-his-lap/

Security Guard Accused Of Rape

Ivan Coleman has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of an adult.  Coleman was a security guard at the apartment complex that the woman is a resident of.  He insisted on walking the woman to her apartment after she returned home from a night of drinking.  The woman says that she passed out after Coleman walked her home, and when she woke up she was naked and Coleman was standing next to her bed, also naked.  A rape exam showed that saliva found on her matched that of Coleman.  To read more on this story please go to http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/local&id=7951231

Fort Bend Man Indicted For Intoxication Manslaughter

New Bill Focusing On 1st Time DWIs

29 Year Old Man Arrested For Soliciting Minor

Former Dallas Cowboy Terry Glenn Arrested

Orioles Pitcher Charged With DWI

Man Charged With Online Solicitation Of A Minor

Nacogdoches Man Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter

Former Deputy Sentenced For DWI

Man Charged With Aggravated Assault

Former Teacher Charged With Solicitation Of A Minor

Suspected Drunk Driver Killed

Actress Jaime Pressly Charged With DWI

Midland Man Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter

Houston Man Arrested For Online Solicitation Of A Minor

Houston Man Charged With DWI After Wreck

Owner Of Houston Area Loan Company Charged With Fraud
