Deputy Charged With Child Porn

Deputy David Oldham has been charged with 8 counts of possession of child pornography.  During the course of an investigation, a detective from Indiana developed information that Oldham possessed child pornography.  Oldham had been a patrol officer for approximately 15 years and was an officer in the jail for about 4 years.  Oldham is now on administrative leave from the department due to the charges and  is currently out of jail after posting a bond.  To read more on this story please go to http://heraldargus.com/articles/2011/07/29/news/local/doc4e30a69e9bb1c655583103.txt

Intoxication Manslaughter Charge Filed In Deadly Accident

Former Teacher Arrested For Solicitation Of Minor

Former Police Officer Charged With Possessing Child Porn

Juan Rodriguez, a former Illinois State Trooper, was sentenced to 60 days in county jail after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography.  Rodriguez was charged after an investigation determined he had viewed child pornography on a department laptop and also paid to join a child pornography website.  Rodriguez will also have to register as a sex offender and must complete 30 months of sex offender probation.  Rodriguez had already retired from the police department when he was charged and he is expected to lose his pension due to the felony conviction.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/juan-rodriguez-child-porn-126285853.html

Man With Multiple DWIs receives 55 Years

Gliddon Davis was sentenced to 55 years in prison by a Montgomery County jury for a felony DWI.  During the most current DWI case, Davis was put under citizen's arrest by a husband and wife that saw Davis driving erratically.  When the citizen tried to take the keys out of Davis' car, he attempted to speed off and drove into a ditch.  After a sample of his blood was taken, it was determined that Davis had a blood alcohol level of .19.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/humble/news/article_a84cdbde-c29d-5e56-8332-3d615561e21d.html

Man Charged With Intoxication Assault

Mauricio Rocha, 24, has been charged with intoxication assault.  Rocha is accused of hitting three cars in downtown Galveston and was arrested when police found him asleep at a second crash nearby.  During the course of the first wreck, a woman unfortunately suffered a broken arm.  She was taken to a local hospital and treated for her injuries.  A sample of Rocha's blood was later taken to determine his level of intoxication.  To read more on this story please go to http://galvestondailynews.com/story/244686

Man Charged With 4th DWI

Man Indicted For Sexual Offenses Involving A Minor

62-Year-Old Charged With Soliciting Minor

Frederick G. Aldine Man Facing Felony DWI

Beaumont Man Set To Enter Plea

58-Year-Old Arrested For Online Solicitation Of Minor

Mother Arrested For DWI

Man Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter

Luis R. Besa has been charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.  According to police, Besa rear ended the victim's vehicle while it was waiting to turn into a store parking lot.  The victim's car was then sent into oncoming traffic and was struck by two other vehicles.  The vehicle then burst into flames and was eventually put out by a passing driver.  The passenger of the vehicle died and the driver was taken to a nearby hospital.  To read more on this story please go to newstreamz.com

Man Charged With Soliciting Minor

Drunk Driver Kills Amish

Louisiana Man Facing Multiple Sexual Offenses

Shannon Dishner has been charged with sexual battery, simple battery, online solicitation of a minor and possession of juvenile porn.  According to police, Dishner fondled and forced an 18-year-old girl to touch his exposed genitals.  The young girl was at his home to go swimming with Dishner's step daughter.  That incident led police to question another friend of Dishner's step daughter about any possible incidents.  Police then discovered that Dishner had requested a 16-year-old girl, through text message, to send him nude photos of herself.  That incident is what led to two more charges ultimately being filed.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.slidellsentry.com/articles/2011/07/13/news/doc4e1cfeef29b86547069800.txt

El Paso Man Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter

According to police, a teenage driver was pulled over on the side of the road, when two of his friends pulled over to help.  A suspected drunk driver, driving a Toyota Tundra, then collided with the young man's vehicle.  Two of the young men died and the third is currently recovering in an area hospital.  The driver of the truck is currently recovering in the hospital and will be taken to jail  and charged with intoxication manslaughter as soon as he is released.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.kfoxtv.com/news/28499256/detail.html   

Former Teacher Charged With Possession Of Child Porn

Richard Kalwaic, a former high school teacher, was charged today with 24 counts of possession of child pornography.  After police served a search warrant on his home, Kalwaic allegedly admitted to having several images of child pornography and said he would view them out of curiosity.  He also claimed that he thought the images were ugly and would dispose of them after viewing them.  Kalwaic was arrested during the course of an investigation looking to identify those possessing and sharing child pornography.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.delcotimes.com/articles/2011/07/08/news/doc4e166b56d1540394047176.txt

Man Charged In Connection With Deadly Crash

San Antonio Man Charged With Intoxication Assault

Man Gets Charged With 11th DWI

Elderly Man Charged With Soliciting Minor

Beaumont Man Charged With Intoxication Assault

Casey Anthony Acquitted Of Murder

The jurors in the high profile case took approximately 10 hours to find Casey Anthony not guilty of murder in the first degree.  Anthony was also found not guilty of second-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, and manslaughter.  Anthony was found guilty on four counts of lying to police.  The members of the jury have decided they will not be speaking to the media and will remain anonymous.  To read more on this story please go to heraldsun.com
