Sugar Land Police Captain Mike Lund has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.  Lund was stopped at a traffic control area after a fire shut down portions of U.S. 59 in Sugar Land.  He was detained by an officer working as traffic control and was arrested because the officer said he appeared intoxicated.  Lund was taken to the Fort Bend County Jail and later released after posting a $500 bond.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Sugar-Land-police-captain-arrested-for-DWI-2241288.php

Brian David Wyninger, a convicted sex offender, has been arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor.  Wyninger allegedly attempted to lure a young girl over Facebook and wrote a letter to another young girl in New York.  Both of which are violations of the probation that he is currently on.  His attorney says that Wyninger has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.hometownannapolis.com/news/top/2011/09/30-34/Sex-offender-back-in-jail.html?ne=1

Dr. Susan Duncan has been arrested and charged with the offense of driving while impaired.  The doctor was arrested after she reported that her car was stolen and it was later discovered that she crashed it down a large embankment while under the influence of alcohol.  The next day Duncan was pulled over for speeding and was subsequently arrested for aggravated DWI.  After submitting to an analysis of her breath, it was determined that she had a BAC of .19%.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.midhudsonnews.com/News/2011/October/25/Duncan_arr-25Oct11.html

Peter Mikhakhuk has been arrested and charged with DWI following a series of car accidents.  According to police, Peter veered off the road and drove through the front yard of a residence and then hit the homeowner as well as his vehicle.  The driver then continued on and hit several more unoccupied vehicles before being taken into custody by police.

Yvon Gingras of Canada has been charged with his 24th DWI.  Gingras had previously been barred from driving for the next 10 years, but he was still driving while intoxicated according to police.  The judge in the case has refused to set a bond for what he called an unrepentant drunk driver.  Gingras' lawyer said he admitted to having a drinking problem and is seeking help.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.torontosun.com/2011/10/20/man-charged-with-24th-drunk-driving-offence

Eric Porter has been arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor.  Porter allegedly engaged in a sexually oriented online chat with what he believed was an underage girl.  According to police, he then attempted to arrange a meeting with the girl in person.  Porter was later arrested by police and a search of his home was conducted in an attempt to uncover more evidence.

Allen Kwan has been charged with the offense of intoxication manslaughter.  Kwan was charged after he hit and killed a construction worker who was in the road repairing asphalt.  Kwan was suspected of being intoxicated at the time of the accident and was taken into custody.  The victim had worked with the same construction company for the past 5 years and he leaves behind a wife and daughter.  To read more on this story please go to http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/local&id=8396169

Four months after being arrested on weapons and domestic violence charges, rapper Tone-Loc has plead no contest to both charges.  Tone-Loc was sentenced to one day in jail and three years probation for both cases.  The rapper was arrested on June 18th after he allegedly got into a physical altercation with the mother of one of his children.  The DA's office stated that the weapon was not used in the assault, but during the course of the investigation Loc was found to be in possession of an unregistered assault weapon.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1671928/tone-loc-domestic-violence-charges.jhtml

Randall John Pilon has been sentenced to six years in prison after being charged with soliciting a minor over the internet.  According to the police, Pilon contacted an undercover officer in an online chat room in May 2010.  The undercover officer was posing as a 14-year-old girl when Pilon made contact with him.  Pilon allegedly asked the officer to go camping with him and exposed himself to her on webcam.  Pilon was formerly a 7th grade teacher in the City of Virginia Beach.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.wtkr.com/news/wtkr-middle-school-teacher-sentenced-sex-crimes,0,4455818.story

Irene Khechinashvili has been charged with driving while intoxicated after hitting a tree.  Police said that the driver told them she was trying to avoid hitting a car and swerved into the tree.  When an officer arrived on the scene, Irene allegedly admitted to drinking and failed field sobriety tests on the side of the road.  She was later determined to have a blood alcohol content of .15.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.thedailyharrison.com/news/woman-hits-tree-harrison-charged-dwi
