Charles Edward Jones has been arrested and charged with the offense of driving while intoxicated.  Police originally received a call about a hit and run incident, where the complainant was following the suspect.  When officers pulled Jones over, they said he smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet.  At some point during the investigation, Jones began to eat foam he had pulled from the backseat of the patrol car.  Jones then refused all field sobriety tests and declined to give a sample of his blood.  He was later charged with DWI 2nd, due to a previous conviction for DWI.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.herald-citizen.com/view/full_story/16591072/article-Drunk-driver-eats-patrol-car-seat?instance=most_popular

Eric Wlodarsky, a former Ohio State Trooper, was charged with DWI after he drove his truck into a tree while leaving a Halloween Party.  Wlodarsky then allegedly tried to blame the wreck on his passenger and then asked the arresting officer to charge him with reckless driving instead of DWI.  Wlodarsky plead guilty and was sentenced to one year probation and his license will be suspended for 6 months.  Wlodarsky resigned from his position with the Highway patrol after they initiated an investigation into the incident.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.sanduskyregister.com/milan-twp/news/2011/nov/28/ex-trooper-given-probation-drunk-driving-charge

Anthony James Beyer has been arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor.  A warrant for Beyer's arrest was issued after the mother of a 12-year-old boy said she found sexual messages being sent to her son.  After receiving multiple messages, the mother responded and posed as the young boy.  During the text message conversation, Beyer allegedly said he didn't care about the boy's age and asked him to send nude pictures of himself.  When arrested, Beyer would only admit to meeting the boy on the internet.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.kdhnews.com/news/story.aspx?s=61865

Michael Anthony Bass pleaded guilty to the charge of DWI with a child passenger and to a pending charge of intoxication manslaughter.  According to police, officers found Bass passed out drunk behind the wheel of his car.  Court documents state that he was taking his child to school.  Bass had previously been indicted on an intoxication manslaughter charge in August for the death of 23-year-old Amber Hawthorne.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.beaumontenterprise.com/news/crime/article/Man-found-slumped-over-wheel-indicted-for-driving-2274860.php

Kevin Daly was arrested and charged with DWI following an accident with a police cruiser.  The officer had to be treated for minor injuries, but is expected to make a full recovery.  At the time of the arrest, Daly was wearing a t-shirt that just so happened to say, "I'm a drunk."  Daly is due to appear in court next Wednesday to face the drunk driving charges he now has pending.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/882177-drunk-driver-busted-while-wearing-im-a-drunk-t-shirt  

Johnny J. Oliver has been arrested and charged with assault following a bar room brawl.  According to witnesses, Oliver threw a billiard ball at a picture, causing it to shatter.  When other customers tried to calm him down, Oliver got upset.  All of the victims were treated for minor injuries at an area hospital and were later released.  Oliver is currently in police custody with a bond set in the amount of $20,000.  To read more on this story please go to http://easterniowanewsnow.com/2011/11/16/man-punches-four-women-in-melee-at-cedar-rapids-bar/

Samuel Sanchez has been arrested and charged with the offense of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.  Sanchez was allegedly intoxicated when he drove through a fence and then crashed into a brick building on West Alabama.  The collision resulted in the death of one passenger and another being sent to the hospital.  Sanchez was treated for his injuries and was then taken to the county jail upon his release.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Man-charged-with-intoxication-manslaughter-in-2256138.php

Steven Lee Williams, a sixth grade middle school teacher, has been arrested and charged with soliciting a minor over the internet.  Williams allegedly solicited two undercover agents that were posing as two teenage girls on the internet.  The officers are members of Iowa's Crimes Against Children Task Force.  Williams allegedly sent a photo of his genitals to one girl and sent his phone number to the other.  Williams is set to have a preliminary hearing in his case at some point today.  To read more on this story please go to http://clinton.wqad.com/news/crime/70795-teacher-charged-after-online-sting

Eric Wlodarsky, a former Ohio State Trooper, has resigned from his position following an arrest for DWI.  Wlodarsky was accused of driving drunk and wrecking his vehicle on his way home from a Halloween party.  According to police, Wlodarsky had a blood alcohol content that was almost twice the legal limit at the time of his arrest.  When questioned by officers on the scene, Wlodarsky allegedly tried to blame the wreck on his passenger and asked an officer investigating the case to falsify his report.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.sanduskyregister.com/sandusky/news/2011/nov/14/trooper-accused-drunk-driving-resigns

Berthlee M. Sheppard has been arrested and charged with DWI and reckless driving following a minor car accident with a fence.  When police arrived at the scene of the crash, they say Sheppard was standing outside of her car and appeared to be under the influence of drugs.  Sheppard told police that she was under a lot of stress so she drank some wine and smoked PCP to relax.  She was then taken into custody and transported to the hospital for a blood draw.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/2011/11/bayonne_woman_charged_with_dwi.html

Alec McGuire, Robert E. Anthony Marx, the president of the New York Public Library, has been arrested and charged with DWI.  Police came into contact with Marx after he backed into a parked car in Manhattan.  A test later showed that Marx had a blood alcohol level of 0.19% at the time of the arrest.  When arraigned, Marx pleaded not guilty to a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated and was released on his own recognizance.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/08/nyregion/new-york-library-president-anthony-marx-is-accused-of-dwi.html

Clinton Beck has pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 years probation for sending sexually suggestive text messages to a former student.  Beck also forfeited his teacher's license and was ordered to stay away from places that children would be found.  Beck was originally charged with online solicitation of a minor and improper relationship with a minor.  In the end he plead guilty to the charge of improper relationship with a minor charge and the other case was dismissed.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/local_news/article/NB-middle-school-coach-given-probation-for-2256499.php

Timothy Lamont Craig has been charged with the felony offense of sexual assault of a child after allegedly having sex with a teen girl.  The teen met Craig at a recruiting booth at her highschool when he was there recruiting for the Marines.  An investigation uncovered that Craig exchanged text messages with the 16-year-old girl and later arranged for them to meet.  They later met at a football game and had sex in the backseat of Craig's car.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.kxan.com/dpp/news/crime/recruiter-charged-in-child-sex-assault

Randolph County Sheriff's Deputy James Edward Rich has been charged with driving while intoxicated.  According to police, Rich was driving down U.S. 220 when he drove into a deer crossing the road.  When a state trooper arrived on the scene Rich allegedly smelled of alcohol and was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.  He later gave a sample of his breath and was said to have blown a .08 on the breathalyzer.

Kerry Booth Doan pleaded guilty to online solicitation of a minor and was sentenced to 10 years deferred adjudication.  This past February police were alerted that Doan may be soliciting a 13-year-old girl he knew through a family member.  A sting was set up and Doan allegedly sent inappropriate text messages to an undercover officer posing as the 13-year-old.  Doan will be required to report to a probation officer and will have to register as a sex offender.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/courier/news/bentwater-man-s-solicitation-charges-deferred/article_8813787a-26bb-5d9b-bd41-8a31218c7f60.html

Barry Caudle, a youth minister, has been arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor.  According to police, Caudle solicited an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old girl 3 months ago.  The case was then turned over to the Attorney General's office and Caudle was arrested soon after.  The lead pastor where Caudle worked said he was stunned and he will be cooperating fully with the investigation.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.nwherald.com/2011/11/02/youth-minister-accused-of-child-solicitation/ax11ec0/

Christopher Taylor has been charged with the offense of felony driving while intoxicated.  According to police, Taylor was rounding a curve when he drove into the back of a school bus.  The bus had 33 children on board and at least two students had to be treated for minor injuries.  Taylor was taken into custody by police after performing poorly on field sobriety tests given at the scene.  This is the third time Taylor has been charged with DWI, which is why it was a felony.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.theeagle.com/police/DPS--Man-charged-with-DWI-after-striking-Bryan-school-bus--6750788

Desmeisha Thomas has been arrested and charged with DWI and involuntary manslaughter.  Thomas lost control of her vehicle while driving and ended up flipping over.  During the crash the two passengers in the car with Thomas were seriously injured and died at the scene.  According to police, Thomas showed signs of intoxication at the accident scene and later tested positive for alcohol and cocaine.  She is currently in jail waiting for a bond to be set.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/2011/oct/31/crash-leads-manslaughter-charge/
