Carlos A. Martinelly-Montano was sentenced to 20 years in prison on an intoxication manslaughter charge for causing a crash that killed a nun.  Martinelly-Montano is originally from Bolivia and was here in the country illegally at the time of the crash.  He had two previous convictions for DWI and he was scheduled for a deportation hearing before the crash.  Martinelly-Montano said that he had devoted his life to god now and wanted to be a preacher.  Before sentencing him to 20 years, the judge said that he knows Martinelly-Montano has made changes, but society has got to be protected.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/drunk-driver-gets-20-years-for-va-crash-that-led-to-2-nuns-deaths/2012/01/31/gIQAEtf9nQ_story.html
