Frederick Gustav Mueller was charged with intoxication manslaughter after a collision that killed a volunteer firefighter.  The victim was killed when he tried to pass Mueller as Mueller was making a U-turn.  At the time of the crash Mueller had a blood alcohol content of 0.01 at the time of the crash and there were no other substances detected in his blood.  The victim was determined to have had a BAC of 0.153 and had 3 different sedatives in his system.  To read more on this story please go to http://galvestondailynews.com/story/290710
