Texas Tech Student Brian Cody Hawthorne was indicted this past Tuesday on 3 counts of intoxication manslaughter.  Police say Hawthorne was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control and rolled his truck.  The truck then hit a pedestrian, killing him, and two passengers in the truck were killed by a fire hydrant that came through the windshield.  Paramedics said they smelled alcohol on Hawthorne's breath when they arrived at the scene.  He then allegedly admitted to them that he had been drinking before the accident occured.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.kcbd.com/story/16663720/tech-student-indicted-for-intoxication-manslaughter
