Man Solicits Boy Online

Adam Carlisle has been arrested and charged with the offenses of sexual misconduct and two counts of online solicitation of a minor.  Police say they began investigating Carlisle after a 14-year-old boy and his parents said that he met Carlisle online.  According to the boy, he met carlisle on an online dating site, walked to Carlisle's house and the two then had sex.  Authorities received a DNA sample from Carlisle and obtained the results last week.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.theindychannel.com/news/30966016/detail.html

Drunk Driver Causes Deadly Crash

George Vidra of Philadelphia has been arrested and charged with vehicular homicide and driving while intoxicated.  According to police, Vidra ran a stop sign and drove into the side of another vehicle that was crossing the intersection.  The car caught fire upon impact and killed both passengers inside.  It was later determined that Vidra was possibly under the influence of alcohol and charges were filed.

Teacher Charged With Sexually Assaulting Student

Osbaldo Garza has been arrested and charged with one count of online solicitation of a minor, one count of sexual assault and one count of improper teacher student relations.  At the time of the alleged incident Garza was a ROTC teacher at a middle school in the Donna ISD.  The alleged relationship involved a female student where Garza was formerly employed.  Upon finding out about these allegations Garza was immediately supended by the school district without pay.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.themonitor.com/news/donna-59759-rotc-sexual.html   

Drunk Driver Kills Woman In Her Own Home

A woman was killed by a drunk driver while sleeping on the couch in her own home.  The vehicle drove into the front of the victim's residence at around 1:30 in the morning.  The driver was reportedly attempting to turn at a high rate of speed when she lost control of the car and collided with the house.  There were two occupants in the vehicle at the time of the crash, the driver was later taken into custody for DWI.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.thestarpress.com/article/20120420/NEWS06/120420010

Former Tennis Instructor Charged With Child Porn

Joshua E. Lundberg has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.  Charges were filed after a raid on Lundberg's house led to a computer he was using to download and share child pornography.  The arrest came following an undercover operation by police into the distribution of child pornography on a peer-to-peer file sharing network.  Officers were able to identify Lundberg as someone downloading child pornography through an internet protocal address.  He was released from custody after posting bail.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/news/x1364616529/Northborough-man-arraigned-on-child-pornography-charges

Drunk Driver Has Run-In With Cop

Craigslist Lands Man In Deep Trouble

Gary Lynn Workman was advertising under the casual encounters section of the New Orleans Craigslist asking if anyone had a daughter they could bring to him.  A police detective that saw the ad contacted the FBI and the agent began chatting with Workman online.  According to police, Workman at some point expressed an interest in having sex with a 12-year-old girl.  He then drove to a pre-determined location where he believed he was going to meet an adult male that lived with a 12-year-old girl.  Workman has been charged with online solicitation of a minor.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.nola.com/crime/index.ssf/2012/04/metairie_man_booked_with_onlin.html

Drunk Driver Runs From Police

Peter Ford Benton has been arrested and charged with DWI and other charges relating to his flight from police.  According to police, Benton was pulled over by an officer for allegedly driving erratically.  When the officer approached Benton's car, he took off.  Benton eventually pulled over for police and was taken into custody.  He supposedly smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and red glassy eyes.  A sample of Benton's blood was taken for an evaluation of his BAC level.  To read more on this story please go to http://rosemount.patch.com/articles/allegedly-drunk-driver-leads-police-on-high-speed-chase

Man Solicits Underage Girl

Terry Lynn Spies has been arrested and charged with the offense of online solicitation of a minor.  Spies was arrested following an undercover investigation by the Harris County Constables office into the solicitation of underage girls.  An undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old girl went online and made contact with Spies through the website Craigslist.  Spies allegedly described sexual fantasies involving underage girls and sent sexually explicit messages to the officer.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Deputy-poses-as-14-year-old-snares-suspect-3477545.php

Drunk Driver Gets In Fender Bender

Drunk Driver Gets The Maximum

Zachariah Dobler plead guilty in March to leaving the scene of an accident and leaving the scene of an accident after being involved in a fatal hit and run.  At the time of the accident, Dobler was on probation and was driving his parent's car.  He was driving his parent's car because his vehicle was equipped with a device to detect whether or not someone has been drinking.  Despite Dobler's family and attorney asking for the minimum, the judge in the case decided to give him the maximum sentence of 48 years in prison.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/30874555/detail.html

Former Miss USA Pleads To Drunk Driving

Louisiana Man Facing Felony DWI

Brian Edward Stevenson has been arrested and charged with the offense of felony DWI.  Stevenson was pulled over when he was allegedly caught speeding by a DPS trooper.  According to the trooper, Stevenson had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and had bloodshot eyes.  The deputy then found multiple empty bottles of alcohol in his vehicle and Stevenson admitted to having four beers.  This is Stevenson's third arrest for DWI, which makes it a felony.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.theeagle.com/police/Louisiana-man-faces-third-DWI-charge--7091650

49-Year-Old Solicits Minor

Robert Gregg Trummer has been charged with two felony counts of solicitation of a minor.  The investigation started when an upset parent contacted police and reported a man soliciting his 13-year-old son for sex.  Police later discovered that the 13-year-old was chatting with Trummer online and agreed to let him come over for sex.  The boy allegedly told Trummer he was 13 and Trummer replied that's "cool".  Trummer was later arrested when he showed up at an agreed location to meet what he thought was a young boy.  To read more on this story please go to http://maplegrove.patch.com/articles/man-charged-with-soliciting-maple-grove-teenager-for-sex

Fatal Car Crash Leads To Prison Time

Oscar Ferrusca-Tellez was indicted this past November on charges of second degree manslaughter, assault and driving under the influence.  Ferrusca had allegedly been out drinking with friends shortly before he got behind the wheel of his car.  Witnesses reported seeing his vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed before crashing into a barrier.  One of the passengers in the car unfortunately did not survive the crash.  Ferrusca agreed to plea to a reduced charge of criminally negligent homicide, assault and DUI.  He was then given a sentence of 40 months in prison.  To read more on this story please go to http://www.koinlocal6.com/news/local/story/Drunk-driver-sentenced-to-40-months-in-fatal-Hwy/13ViyJybMkCxq2l6kvst6Q.cspx
