Penalties

The punishments for being convicted of vandalism will depend on several factors. The penalties will increase depending on if the offender has been previously convicted of a felony, caused death or serious bodily injury while committing the offense, and / or used a weapon while they committed or attempted to commit the offense.

Vandalism is typically a Class C misdemeanor, which can result in a fine up to $500.
